It lies in area between flood plains of Yamuna and Delhi Ridge. Delhi Ridge is northern extension of ancient Aravali range. It is shrouded in urban residential colony on Mathura road.

The arched gateway leads to the Chusath Khamba tomb enclosure. Chausath Khamba houses tomb of Aziz Kolkaltas. The tomb was built in the year 1623-24 CE.

The huge and impressive gateway is built with red and grey sandstone and white marble is used for the ornamentation purpose. The facade of the gateway contains a huge arched recess in the centre enclosing a pointed arched doorway. The spandrels of the doorway are embellished with plain medallions of white marble. Two arched opening are on the either side and one blind arch is above the doorway. The interior passage has two arcaded openings with trabeate system. Each opening has five niches. The inner face of the gateway is similar in design and decoration but less recessed than the outer face. The inner face of the doorway is flanked by two chambers having rectangular openings for the staircase and small arched recesses. The red stone rectangular and curved mouldings around the arched doorway and marble moulding around the upper arched portion, marble medallions are adding the aesthetic value of the gateway.

The basement is made up of Delhi quartzite. The walls of the compound is made up of rubble stone masonry. The facade is made up of red sandstone and white marble. The floor is made up of stone.
