The grand structure of the double storeyed residential building is situated in the courtyard. The structure is partially renovated but many of the original elements are still surviving. Cornice is supported by brackets. It has jharokhas projecting above the facade. The grand entrance gateway is equally impressive. It is approached by a staircase made up of stone. The pointed arch gateway further leads to the courtyard where this residential building is situated. The gateway has ornate architectural element which is in quite original shape. The pointed arch is surmounted by the cusped arch supported by the combination of rectangular and fluted pilasters. The pilasters are highly embellished by delicate carving. The spandrels of the cusped arch has tendril pattern running all along. The facade of the gateway has pointed and multi-cusped arched niches. There are square platform locally known as Otla are visible on either side of the gateway. These are also embellished with delicate carving. |
