The multicusped arched gateway is approached by a flight of steps as it is built on a raised plinth. There are niches, fluted pilasters and square platforms visible on either side of the gateway. Another flight of stairs from the arched gateway leads to the courtyard, where in the middle, the shivalaya is built over on the octagonal plan.The finely carved fluted columns of sandstone support the ornated canopy over which a bulbous dome is placed on a octagonal drum. The arched dalans and houses are also part of the premises. |
