It is a double storeyed structure.It is a large mosque that has now a long series of shops at the ground floor that face the main market. The structure has magnificent domes with ribbed pattern made by strips of black marble. The domes, now only two in number are bulbous type that contains of inverted lotus motifs and metallic pinnacles. At the corner there is a minaret too. Turrets made in different directions have pendentive type of designs. Battlemented parapet is another impressive feature of this monument. Alterations and encroachment made in recent past has damaged its aesthetic significance. The three entrances have inscription on them. |

The walls are made up of bricks and plastered with lime plaster. The railings and parapet are made up of Delhi quartzite. The dome is made up of red sandstone and white marble. Floor is made up of cement. |
