The Karbala is a large enclosure surrounded by wall built of rubble, most of which is now occupied by a nursery. It contains many graves. The enclosing wall is approx.2.31 m high and built of rubble masonry and plaster. It has two doorways one in the north, opens in Karbala and one in south which opens on Karbala Lane. The main gateway is built of bricks in the south on Jor Bagh Lane. Certain changes are observed on the structure which are probably done in the later period.
