The structure, built on a raised plinth, consists of ground and the first floors is plastered from interior. The building is approached by a flight of steps from the garden. The ground plan includes the front verandah and there are rows of rooms of varying sizes. The roof is of the Madras terrace type. There are several stairways leading from the ground to the first floor. One big stairway, close to the main entrance, is made of wood and has an iron railing. The openings are in the shape of pointed arches. Many of the windows and ventilators are covered with stained glass. |
