According to the legend, it is believed that Devata Khuri jahal had been meditating at Mantalai in Himalayas. After completion of his meditation he came to Luhri and then settled at Beori Khud. A temple was constructed there and a Kholi was constructed at Bahali village where the old mohras mask of the Devata are kept.

The temple rectangular in plan and rose on a high platform. It is built in composite roofed style of pahari architecture. The temple is three storied structure and has an open wooden balcony on its all sides. The walls are built of wood and stone masonry locally known as katth-kuni. The roof is elevated and slates covered on it.
