It is a two chambered temple. The sanctum is of Triratha rekha type and the sanctum was probably rectangular pidha type with flat roof. After the porch is broken from the upper Jangha portion. The temple bears close resemblance with the feture are Haresvara and Mohini temple of Bhubaneswar. The porch was under sand dunes and exposed in 1951. the loose sculptures of Kartikeya, Vishnu, Ganesha, bulls are found kept in front of the temple. Even the temple is buried undresand upto the bada portion. The sculpture on north side is of Paravati and other two side deities, stiu buried under sand dunes. The doorjambs have astagnaha, Lakshmi and dvarapalas. Presiding deity is a siva lingam. height of the Temple is about 35 feet. |
