It is a two chambered temple. Its sanctum is of pancharatha rekha type and the porch is of pidha design. The exterior walls of the temple is decorated by some affixed stone sculptures of both cult deities and secular figures including erotic sculptures. The doorjambs and the lintel above it contain Lakshmi, two dvarapalas and Navagraha figures respectively. The side deities are Ganesha, Kartikeya and Parvati of later period. The presiding deity is a Siva lingam. The temple stands on a plinth. Height of the temple is about 45 feet. |
