16 06 N 78 48 E.Sanrigundal is a small Chenchu settlement around which are scattered numerous blade-based Upper Palaeolithic artefacts. Here, the raw material, which is fine grained quartzite, is not available and therefore seems to have been brought from elsewhere. The raw material for tools at all the other sites mentioned is medium to fine-grained quartzite and is locally available. |
