In the Krishna valley at Nagarjunakonda, upper palaeolithic artefacts are reported by K. V. Soundararajan 1958 . The industry consisted of blade flakes and burins. In addition we have the usual flake element. The industry appears to have been made on fine grained variety of quartzite. It is interesting to note that within the Nagarjunakonda valley the regions close to Tellarallabodu and Kundellagutta have yielded a large number of upper palaeolithic specimens. |
