The sites on the Pennar included Maddurupalli 14 12 N. Latt. 79 33 E. Long. . The general typology of the industry included handaxes in small numbers,points in large numbers, combined tools like scrapers-cum-borers, scrapers in large numbers borers etc. It is quite interesting to not that among the sites of the Pennar heavy duty tools included only the handaxes, while choppers and chopping tools complex is absolutely absent.This stands in contrast to the sites on Paleru, which represent only the living grounds. |
