In northern coastal Andhra evidences relating to upper palaeolithic have been brought to light by K.T. Reddy and Vijayaprakash 1985 ,Vijaya Prakash 1981 and K. Srinivasa Murthi 1986 .The sites included Sontyam. Sontyam mesolithic artefacts were reported by P. Vijaya Prakash 1981 . however, these sites do not appear to be large in view of the low yield of tools. They are in all possibility transient or secondary sites. |
