Rich Microlith yielding sites were discovered on the stabilized surface of maderately calcreted yellowish brown dunes Obstacle and Barchann types. locally available materials like rhyolite, fine grained quartzite, quartz, chert and chalcedony have been used for making tools. on the basis of pedogenesis thses dunes do not appar to be very old, probably not earlier than early Holocene. Aeolian activity seems to have continued even during the early Holocene in this part of Rajasthan. |
