Ramachandrapuram of Parlakimidi taluk are located in the river valley of Vamsadhara and Mahendratanaya. Ramachandrapuram are located within a radius of 5 km 19 km south of Parlakimidi respectively. The cultural material collected includes microliths made on quartz and chert, chisels and also flakes, cors, saddle querns, rubbers, and maceheads. Mesolithic tools and neolithic ground and polished tools and carnelian beads of various shapes, viz. barrel, spherical and round. |
