Balejapalle BJP Lat 14 37 N Long 78 54 E This village is 25 km to the south-east of Rayachoti town. The ancient mound located on the left bank of the Bahuda river to the Megalithic and Early Historic periods is very . Black-and-red ware, black ware and red ware with animal bones were collected from the megalithic deposit. There are 16 stone circles located adjacent the left bank of line river and the burial complex is about . meterial such as pottery black-and-red ware,and black ware, animal bones, broken bricks, stone structure is the upoer layers, probably of a wall, mullers and quern pieces were descovered. |
