Artefacts extend sporadically covering the entire area between Kirinayattam, Mettur to Mettupalayam Senrayanpalayam and Kanjipadi, occurring on the surface of eroding bedrock comprising the Satyavedu formation. The area is dissected by rain gullies and natural tanks. Artefacts are in general rolled and deeply patinated. |
