The area is dissected by numerous rain rills and gullies. |

The surface comprises Quartz Gravel formations or ferricrete cobble to boulder beds on the surface of which artefacts were noted. Artefact density is low and forms a scatter over several kilometers of which around 4 sq.km were surveyed. Artefact densities of 4-5 m . Artefacts generally occur in clusters, with a few tools scattered between clusters. Studies of lithics are provided in Pappu 1996,2001 . In well sections noted, ferruginous gravels capped Satyavedu sandstones. |
