| Description / विवरण | Sitar is large size with a small pumpkin shaped tumba belly attached to the wooden handle dandi with a Gulu joining plate hidden by an arched petal shaped raised decorated over it. The tumba has a wooden drum tabli . The upper part of the handle has two wooden knobs at the front side and at the right side. All of its strings are broken and missing. The tumba has an ivory knob at the bottom for wiring the strings. The lower part of tumbi is decorated with floral design. The handle dandi is decorated with ivory inlay work at the front side. |
