| Description / विवरण | Tanpura much similar to Sitar has a big guard shaped tumba having arched leaf plates decorated over its upper portion. It is fixed with a concave plate tabli over it with a piped wooden coil. The belly is attached to a long handle dand . The belly and handle both are hollow from inside. Two knobs are fixed to its two sides while two knobs at the front side are missing. Its groove and wires are also missing. Its painted decorations have also faded. |
