| Description / विवरण | This is a musical instrument known as sitar. It is made with wood, stone, ivory and metal. The dandi has 19 pardas and five kanthi knobs of wood decorated with ivory. The dandi is decorated with floral design in leaves shape. The tumbi is covered with stone tabli. The tumbi and dandi joint by Gulu which is in floral shape. One end of tumbi has wires with langot. The border of tumbi is decorated flower designs. The tabli of stone is decorated with flower patterns. The kanthi knobs having holes of ivory portion. |
