| Description / विवरण | This musical instrument is known as Taus Veena . It is made of wooden, ivory and metals. The dandi has 5 kanthi knobs of wood in leaf shape. The lower portion is decorated with peacock fur shape with geometric border. The other side of dandi is decorated with carved string in wood. It has two tumbi. The one is peacock shape with his frets. The tumbi is covered with tabli. The neck of peacock is decorated with boondi shape ornaments. The dandi and tumbi are joint by Gulu which is in carved flower shape. |
