| Description / विवरण | Sitar is small with small pumpkin shaped tumba joint to the wooden handle with the Gulu hidden by arched flower petal shaped decorations. The tumba has a wooden drum over it joint with a wooden pipe. The tumba and handle both are hollow from inside The upper part of the handle has 2 knobs at the right side and 2 at the front side and rest are missing. The handle has 17 frets in middle portion, the rest are missing. All of its strings broken and many are missing. The tumba has an ivory knob at the bottom for tying all the strings. |
