| Description / विवरण | Sitar have 3 tumbas, one is missing, painted in red colour with raised, arched flower petal shaped raised decoration khatambandi over one of the tumba and the same kind of decoration over the Gulu area. The tumba and handle are hollow. The handle has an arched wooden strip over it and 17 frets tied over it. The rest are missing. It has 12 nodes at the right side of the handle and two at the front. Its strings are broken and also missing. The main tumba is joint to a wooden drum over it and there is an ivory stretcher over the drum. |
