| Description / विवरण | Tanpura much similar to Sitar has a big guard shaped tumba having arched leaf plates decorated over its upper portion. It is fixed with a concave plate tabli over it with a piped wooden coil. The belly is attached to a long handle dand . The belly and handle both are hollow from inside. There is one nob at the left side and one in the front side of the upper part of the handle. The rest are missing. Its groove and wires are also missing and the floral paintings around the joining areas are fading. |
