| Description / विवरण | Miniature painting based on Mahabharat - Gada parva depicting story of Saraswati river. Saraswati river took Vasista rishi to east direction. Vishwamitra gave curse to Saraswati that she would become unholy by demon. Demons are shown drinking water and making river dirty one day one rishi came to bank of Saraswati river. Mahadev came to bank of Saraswati river to meet sage and purified the river. |
