| Description / विवरण | The body and the head were recovered from the same pit. The figurine seems to be seated on a high stool. She is dressed in a belted tunic reaching the knee. The belt on the back is decorated with finger-tip patterns Oblique incision denote either a necklace or a himation. Modelling is extremely crude. Various parts of the figurine were prepared separately and joined before firing. The hands and the feet are undigitated. Fingers of the hands are shown by parallel incisions. Breast are made separately and fixed later. The naval is shown by a prominent circular cavity. |
