| Description / विवरण | The pillar is emerges out of a pot shaped base. It is supported by tiny ganas seated at the four corners with their legs stretched on either side of the plain ghata which they support with their outstretched hands. A lotus flower and two buds are made known on the beam of the pillar. The Pillar is decked out with two projecting bands placed at intervals. The first band consists of a curling meandering floral vine placed within a ridged margin. Below the lower edge of this band, pearl festoons are carved on the shaft of the pillar. The second band is square and comparatively higher relief carved. It is decorated with Kirtimukhas out of whose mouth emerge pearl festoons. At the four corners, flying figures of ganas are carved. |
