| Description / विवरण | The Buddha is seated on a pedestal which is supported by seated lions on the sides. The dharmacakra is in the middle of the pedestal. The inscription on the pedestal states that the image of the Buddha was installed by Bhadanta Devavarma. The sculpture is in padmasana, the left hand resting on the thigh was probably holding the drapery. The modelling of the body is outstanding. |
