| Description / विवरण | Gaja-simha motif is commonly used as an ornamental piece in Indian art-architecture. This sculpture shows the lion riding on the back of two elephants and touching the heads with his front two legs. The head portion of the lion is broken and missing. The elephants are seen to be knelling down on the pedestal. The elephants are shown with two bodies but a common head.. |
