| Description / विवरण | This is a hand cannon cast in iron known as shaturnal . The cylinder of the gun appears almost parallel but it slightly tappers from towards muzzle with flaring out mouth. An astragal ring joins muzzle with chase. The short trunnions are provided on an iron strap around barrel of the gun further engaged with an iron fork swivel. The cascabel is fixed to wooden butt with iron nails which is now in fragmentary condition. A vent hole is seen on the breech with flash pan. An inscription on the breech near trunnion portion is also noticed. |
