| Description / विवरण | This is a large cannon of muzzle loading type wherein the gun powder and cannon balls are loaded from the muzzle.The hollow cylinder of the cannon barrel extends to the end. A small fuse hole is on the top to ignite the gun powder. The cannon barrel is strapped with twenty one additional rings probably for further strengthening the cannon.Three small rings to lift or drag the cannon are attached to the body at the middle and at the muzzle end.Two of these rings contain urdu inscription.A label inscription in devanagari on the cannon body is noteworthy.The cannon exhibits thick encrustration. |
