| Description / विवरण | A spouted lota with a high, flaring and out-curved rim, carinated body and a round bottom; the spout which is obliquely luted on the body, is slightly shorter than the mouth of the jar. The most noteworthy feature is the painted design of boats with oars on either side of the spout. It may be stated that this particular motif occurs at Inamgaon mostly on such jars from burials. |
