| Description / विवरण | A lime stone sculpture the of Buddha is in Bhumisparsa mudra seated on lotus pedestal. Four stupas are represented on both sides of the Buddha. Below the lotus pedestal there are two dhyanai Buddha and three miniature stupa is depicted .The seven events are symbolized in the smaller images along the edge of the stele such as birth at Lumbini , preaching of first sermon at Sarnath , mahaparinivan at kushinagar and the events of vaishali. In the lower panel there is a one line inscriphin in proto bangla. |
