| Description / विवरण | The image of Caubisi represent the 24 Jain Tirthankara.The Main deity 16th Tirthankara Shantinatha is seen seated on a pitha.His Lanchhan emblem deer is sculpture at the Pitha.Above his head Chhatra is shown. Above the Chhatra two wheel is shown.Other 23 Tirthankara is seen in surrounding, all the jina are shown seated and standing posture.The image has an inscription but as it is badly worn out,it is not satisfactorily readable at present.On iconographic and inscriptional grounds it can be ascribed to 14th century AD. |
