| Description / विवरण | Mahapasupati Sivalinga showing four forms Viz-Aghor, Vama, Tatsat and saumya. All the forms are in seated posture except one seated on the pedestal with impression of palms and feet. Heads of all the forms of Siva are missing. From Lt. to Rt. after the said sculpture on the pedestal of the first form a Nandi is being worshipped by two devotees. The pedestal of the second one is broken and on the third pedestal, a herd of Nandi is shown. Two forms of the Siva are seated in padmasana whereas rest of the two is seated with their right leg turned over the left leg touching the earth. They are also touching the earth with their left hands while their right hand is placed against the chest in yogamudra. On either side of the saumya form of the Siva, miniature forms of Uma-maheshwar seated in Lalitasana on Nandi are depicted. While on the opposite side on the either side of the Siva, the Siva is seated in Lalitasana on a padmapitha attended by a devotee. Hands and Legs are broken. |
