| Description / विवरण | A panel of Saptamatrikas shows from right to left Chamunda standing on a human body in skeleton form holding a ladle in the lower right hand and a kapal danda in her lower left hand. In other two hands objects are not clear. She is wearing snake girdle and necklace. Next to her is Indrani holding a thunderbolt in upper left hand while lower right hand is in abhayamudra, icons of other two hands are broken. Her vahana elephant is shown underneath the deity next to her is two armed Varahi in anthropornorphic form holding a dagger in her right hand while the icon of left hand is broken her vahan varah is seen below the deity next to Varahi is four armed vaishnavi, holding sankha, chakra, gada with her lower rt. hand in abhayamudra.A miniature devotee with folded hands is seen to the right of deity next to her is Kaumari riding on peacock. Her right hand is in abhayamudra while from her left hand she is feeding peacock. Next to her is three-faced Maheshwari wearing jatamukuta seated on a bull. She holds a kalasa in her lower left hand while lower right hand is in abhayamudra. Icons of both the upper hands are not clear. Next to Parvati is three faced Brahmani holding a ladle, book and kamandal in her three hands while the lower right hand is in abhayamudra. Her vahana swan is seen below her. |
