| Description / विवरण | To the right is the Buddha, accompanied by Vajrapani, monks and laity, entering Rajagrha, the gate of the city being shown to the left. He is preceded by Sakra, disguised as a manavaka who is announcing the approach of the Buddha by beat of drum. The fragmentary panel to the left shows a group of people carrying bowls of food to feed the Buddha’s party who were guests of the king Bimbisara. |
