| Description / विवरण | The central lotus rhizome with its heavy undulating stalk yielding full-blown lotuses, buds, and leaves is very similar to the ornament on the Outer face of the coping (cf. AM 31). It may have issued from a Yaksa figure enclosed in a lunate at the bottom as in AM 49. The borders along the beveled edges are filled with vertical rows of honeysuckle ornaments which have corollas of lotuses with drooping petals as their bases. |
