| Description / विवरण | The Goddess is seated on a lotus throne with the pendant right foot resting on a small flower. The right hand is in varada mudra the left, now missing, probably held the stalk of the blue lotus. Above, on individual lotuses, are the five Dhyani Buddhas, the central figure who is in abhaya mudra to be identified with Amogha-siddhi. To the sides of the Goddess are two miniature stupas. The stylized postures, the sharply delineated facial features, and the treatment of ornamental and iconographic detail all suggest a date in the late 11th century A.D. |
