| Description / विवरण | The 23rd Jain Tirthankara Mahavira is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha.He has nine serpent hood over his head.His body appear to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression.The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.His curly hair has a Usnisa over his head. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription of one line on the back side of the Pitha,it mention the name of donor as Moolsangh.His Lanchhan emblem lion is carved at the Pitha. |
