| Description / विवरण | Mahishasuramardani with 8 hands, with the left leg bent and extended backwards. The two rear hands hold chakra and sankha. Objects in other hands are not clearly visible. The front right hand holds a sword piercing into the buffalo below. While the left hand holds mouth of the animal. The right leg rest firmly on the base while left leg tramples buffalo below. The head is cut of and separated from the body. She is adorned with kuchabhanda armlets, wristlets and anklets. |
