| Description / विवरण | This is a small cannon also called culverin used for firing long range shots.The base is broad measuring 35 cm in circumference where as the circular barrel mouth is comparatively narrow and measures 31 cm in circumference.At the rear end a small perforation is provided on the top surface to ignite gun powder for firing. It is muzzle loaded.At the middle two cylindrical projections trunnions are provided to rotate the cannon vertically and to vary elevation. At the rear end the narrow cylindrical handle is provided for easy rotation of cannon in definite axis. |
