| Description / विवरण | Possibly the image of Lakshmana, is shown wearing two necklaces and a yago pavita sacred thread passing over his chest. He has stylized features. He wears a transparent lower garment dhoti and square shaped bhuja band. Eyes are made of ivory and inlayed into the sockets. Four U shaped Triratna marks silver are shown on the forehead, upper part of both hands and chest. The attributes are lost but the postures of both the hands show that those probably held a bow and a arrow respectively. Traces of sindoor, are seen here and there on the body that indicate its religious utility. |
