| Description / विवरण | Mahesvara is shown seated on a comparatively higher pedestal. He is shown seated ardhapryankasana. His dangling right leg is placed on a cushion. On his left thigh, his wife Uma, is shown seated. The face of the four handed Mahesvara is badly damaged. On his upper right hand he holds a long trident trisula and his damaged lower right in all probabilities was in Varda mudra. By his upper left hand he carries a sankha , while by his lower left. Supports the waist of his wife, behind the damaged head of Siva the ornamental prabha is flanked by badly eroded figures of Brahma and Vishnu both whom are seen seated in ardha paryankasana. On the lower right side Ganesha is seen joyfully dancing holding the Parasu above and similarly on the other side one finds a damaged figure of a gana in the attitude of joyfully dancing. There are two male attendants on the extreme left and right at the bottom and the one on the right has a mutilated face. One hand is placed on the right shoulder of her lord,while by the left which is broken, she might have carried a darpana. |
