Description / विवरण	Gaja Kesari motif is decorative art piece of temple chariot. A lion riding over an elephant, placing its hind legs on back portion of the elephant, whereas the elephant stands on its hind legs and the front folded legs raised. It has tusks. It wears a garland of bells around its neck. Left leg placed on the temple portion of the elephant head, and holds the trunk of the elephant with its right leg. Interestingly another rope like thing is shown connecting the trunk of the elephant and nasal part of the lion as if it is riding the elephant. The lion is shown with wide open mouth, bulged eyes, projected eye balls, prominent hair locks on the neck part and also on mane portion.
