| Description / विवरण | A woman partially nude standing in dwibhanga posture. Her hair is braided and matted in to a broad lump like bun on the back side, while the fore part is tied by a broad head-band, decorated with festoons. The ears are ornamented with chakra kundalas. Around the neck are two tight necklaces and a long garland like hara, falling on the abdomen passing through the breasts. The shoulders are decorated with bhuja kirtis and the biceps with keyuras comprising broad pendents and a broad arch like kirti mukha motif with a round object in the centre. The woman carries in her palms an indeterminate object in her right palm, whereas there is a custard apple in the left. There is scanty drapery for the woman. The legs and feet are decorated with anklets and manjiras. On the whole, the image looks roundish and stout. Seems to belong to the Kakatiya School of Art. |
