| Description / विवरण | Decorated red ware lid of a pot. It has flat base and domical or conical body having a top circular knob with a central perforation extended from top to bottom. There are two appliqu thick bands enclosing a dance scene ballad on the external domical part. The scene represents a folk dance. In which male and female figures are holding hand in hand. It is a continous scene depicted around the lid. In between male and female figures, a coniferous plant is representated very prominently. It recollects the theme of unity among the human beings manavavalayam . |
