| Description / विवरण | Marble image of Durga as Mahishamardini. The goddess is shown standing and hoding a lance and suppressing the demon. Her head is decorated with a short kirita makuta. She has eight hands four on each side holding several objects like Pasa, Damaru etc. The other ornaments are not clear. The image is short and thick in proportions. Round head with closed eyes, snubbed nose, slightly big ear lobes suggest the late features. |
