| Description / विवरण | The image of Caubisi represent the 24 Jain Tirthankara.The Main deity 16th Tirthankara Shantinatha is seen seated on a Pitha.His Lanchhan emblem deer is carved at the Pitha.Above his head Chhatra is shown.Other 23 Tirthankara is seen in surround, all the jina are shown seated and standing posture.The image has an inscription but due to badly worn out,it is not satisfactorily read out at present.On iconographic and inscriptional grounds it can be ascribed to 17th century AD. |
